前言

南澳岛是中国广东汕头市管辖下的一个海岛县。地处亚热带，北回归线横贯。冬暖夏凉的海洋气候十分宜人，年平均气温在21.5°C，每立方厘米空气含负离子达4000个。岛上没有工业，渔村、渔船遍布，海浪、礁石围绕，山海景色迷人，是培育水彩艺术的天然沃土。

潮汕地区是中国沿海水彩画较发达的地区。一年一度的“潮汕水彩年展”早已享誉海内外。“潮汕水彩年展”以展览、学术交流（南澳水彩论坛）、写生、收藏、衍生品推广等一系列活动而成为一块具有中国南方特色和潮汕文化特色的海内外水彩艺术活动品牌。

2022年起，“潮汕水彩年展”将扩展为“南澳海岛水彩节”，每年春、夏、秋、冬四季开展不同展览主题的活动，打造“不落幕的水彩岛”。

本次展览是“南澳海岛水彩节”的第二季度活动（简称:夏季展），是一次具有南中国海岛风情的全球性专业网络展。

投稿及作品要求：

作品形式不拘、提倡注重个人艺术感受和水性材料的特殊美感。

每人只投作品1幅、个人简介1份（300字内）、个人照1张，图片JPG、PNG、JPEG格式，大小在2—5M，作品图片请注明：姓名、作品名称、尺寸、创作年份、国籍（地区）、通讯地址和联系电话；有意向出售作品的作者，请注明销售金额，以便进行宣传推广，并推荐给相应的收藏机构或藏家。

入选与评奖：

组委会将聘请专家对投稿作品进行评选，评选出参展作品200-250幅，再从入选作品中评出“南澳（国际）水彩奖-特等奖”3名；“南澳（国际）水彩奖-优秀奖”200名（获奖率80%）。

入选与获奖者权益

入选作者将获得电子版证书一份（可直接打印纸质），并在全球线上平台展出，国内外多家媒体平台发布，以获得巨量的点击率和传播空间；组委会将向艺术机构、藏家推荐经作者授权委托出售的参展作品，并及时公布收藏信息，上述服务不收费用。

获“优秀奖”的画家（200名），可获得宝虹艺术家级8开水彩本1本（价值113元）。

获“特等奖”的画家（3名），除获得宝虹艺术家级8开水彩本外，可在获奖之日起一年内赴南澳岛采风写生，由组委会提供免费工作室（含住宿，时间2周），可自带作品，免费在南澳岛举办个人水彩画展。

所有参展画家可应邀参加12月在南澳岛举行的“南澳海岛水彩节”线下展（即冬季展）”的相关活动，组委会将为画家提供便利，同时享受住宿优惠。

Preface

Nan'ao Island is an island in the charge of Shantou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is located in the subtropical zone. The Tropic of Cancer runs through it. The marine climate is very pleasant. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. The annual average temperature is about 21.5 °C, and 4000 negative ions are contained in the air per cubic centimeter. There is no industry on the island. However, fishing villages and fishing boats are everywhere, surrounded by waves and reefs, and the mountain and sea scenery are charming. It is fertile ground for cultivating watercolour art.

Chaoshan area is a coastal area in China where watercolour painting has been relatively developed. The annual Chaoshan Watercolor Exhibition has been very famous no matter in China or at abroad, which has become a brand of watercolour art activities with the characteristics of Southern China and Chaoshan culture through a series of activities such as exhibitions, academic exchange (Nan’ao Watercolor Forum), sketching, collection and promotion of derivatives.

From 2022, the annual Chaoshan Watercolor Exhibition will be expanded to Nan'ao Island Watercolor Festival. Activities with different exhibition themes will be held in spring, summer, autumn and winter every year to create a "non-ending watercolor island".

This exhibition, which is called the Summer Exhibition, is an activity of the second season of the Nan’ao Island Watercolor Festival. It is a global professional online exhibition with the style of South China island. The specific information on soliciting contributions is as follows:

Submission requirements:

The works are not confined to any specific form and advocate paying attention to personal artistic feelings and the special beauty of water-based materials.

Each person can submit only one piece of work, one personal profile (within 300 words) and one personal photo in the format of JPG, PNG or JPEG, with the size of 2-5M. Please indicate the name, size, year of creating the work and the name, nationality (region), mailing address and contact number of the painter. The painter who intends to sell his/her works, please indicate the sales amount so that it can be better promoted and recommended to collections or collectors.

Selection and awards:

The organizing committee will invite experts to select 200-250 pieces of works from the submitted works, and then select 3 Nan’ao (International) Watercolor Award - Special Prize and 200 Nan’ao (International) Watercolor Award - Excellence Award from the selected works (the award-winning rate is 80%).

Selection and exhibition time:

Selection: The shortlist will be announced on June 23.

Exhibition: The online exhibition will be held on the platform on June 30. (The exhibition works will be permanently saved in the platform cloud.)

Rights and interests of selected and award-winning painters

1. The selected painters will receive an electronic certificate that can be directly printed on paper. Their works will be displayed on the global online platform and released on many media platforms at home and abroad, so as to obtain a huge amount of click and communication space. The organizing committee will recommend the exhibition works to art institutions and collectors. Once the exhibiting works are sold under the authorization of the painters, the collection information will be timely released free of charge.

2. The 200 winners of the Excellence Award will be awarded an 8-mo watercolor book of Baohong Artist Level which is worth ￥113.

3. In addition to the 8-mo watercolor book of Baohong Artist Level, the 3 winners of the Special Prize can travel to Nan’ao Island and sketch there within one year from the date of winning the prize, and the organizing committee will provide a free studio including accommodation for 2 weeks. They can bring their own works and hold a personal watercolor exhibition in Nao’ao Island free of charge.

4. All participating painters can be invited to participate in the relevant activities of the Nan’ao Island Watercolor Festival Offline Exhibition (Winter Exhibition) which will be held in Nan’ao in December. The organizing committee will provide convenience for painters, who can enjoy accommodation discounts at the same time.
